Meeting of the Balkan Office with the partners from Macedonia |
|
Skopje/Sofia – Between 26 and 27 January, there was a business meeting of the Balkan Middle Class Office with its partners from Macedonia, the regional craft chamber in Skopje, Kumanovo, Stip, Strumica, Gevgelija and Debar, the hairdresser association from Bitola and the national craft chamber. The aim was the presentation of the West Balkans project as well as the introduction of the partners to the newly launched company database ENTERPRISES AND PRODUCTS from Germany and Southeast Europe.
The first part of the meeting dealt with the West Balkans project, during which Ms Stela Markova presented the goals, which should be reached and the related activities and tasks. During the discussion it turned out that the partners were hardly informed about the development of the project and the current activities. Moreover Macedonia needs a separate planning for part of the activities due to the different legal framework conditions. Moreover aid from the short-term experts is recommendable. Last it was noticed, that the Macedonian partners had not signed the memorandum yet.
The second part had its focus on the new company database. After the presentation and the introduction to the functioning of the database, an active discussion started. It was finally decided that the Craft Chamber of the Republic of Macedonia adopts all coordinating duties and will be signed in as a coordinator in all documents. Moreover the memorandum will be signed as fast as possible and further project steps will be worked out separately in order to match the Macedonian needs. The Macedonian partners were urged to start the promotion o the new company database and to start recruiting companies that wish to advertise in the new platform.
